Anca, Nurse Buna (Hello), my name is Anca and I was born and raised in Romania. I have been here in the U.S. for just over a year now and I am having an incredible time. I completed 3 years of vet school in Romania, but am currently working as a nurse here at Alicia Pet Care Center. I cannot thank everyone here enough for their patience and teachings. Between hanging with the gals, getting away for the weekend with my husband, Nathan, taking pictures, and cooking, I am just a simple girl with a great imagination. I miss my dogs at home, Ralph, Cindy, and Tora, but I love playing with our kitty cat, Riley. Come by Alicia Pet Care Center for the one of a kind service for your "babies" and to meet a sweet Romanian.

Casey, Nurse Hi, my name is Casey and I joined the Alicia Pet Care Center family in February 2005, as an animal caretaker. I have been around animals all my life, working as a groomer for three years and also at the Irvine Shelter. As you can imagine, I was very excited to be promoted to nurse assistant here at Alicia Pet Care Center and am working towards becoming a full fledged nurse, by attending technician school to become a R.V.T.
I only have one pet of my own at home, my 2 year old daughter, Anjolie, the rest of my pet family is here at work. In my spare time, I love to paint fun abstracts and play guitar. I feel fortunate to have found Alicia Pet Care Center. I now have a huge family of girls who I would do anything for and have the opportunity to work with two awesome doctors who truly care about their patients.

Samantha, Nurse Hi, my name is Samantha and I was born and raised in San Clemente. I worked at a doggy day care and grooming facility for 4 years and joined the Alicia Pet Care Center family in August 2005. I started as a receptionist, but have switched gears to become a nurse assistant. I am interested to learn more and am currently attending technician school to become a R.V.T. My animal family includes "Angie" a domestic longhair who has 6 toes, and "Suki" a 3 year old yellow lab with a black spot on her nose. In my spare time, I enjoy working out, and going to the beach. I've also invented my own dance, so please stop by any time to check out my routine!

Bethany, RVT
Hi, my name is Bethany. I was born and raised in Hillsdale, New Jersey along with a sister and 5 brothers. I came to California in 2004 for a change of scenery in my life. Although I miss the people in New Jersey, I love it out here!
I currently live in aliso viejo with my husband Aldo and our beautiful daughter Fiona. Our animal children include a dachshund named Charlie, a mini pinchser named red, and two amazing cats Lou and Gus, both rescued from The Pet Rescue Center. Animals have always had a strong presence in my life. As a child I was a member of the 4-H club, which is where I discovered my true passion to work with animals. I began my career in the veterinary field after my move to California, starting as a receptionist in Laguna Beach. I came to Alicia Pet Care Center in the fall of 2005 as a nurse assistant. I have since attended veterinary technician school and earned my RVT license. I feel truly fortunate to work with such amazing doctors and team in an environment that feels like home!

Karolynn, Nurse Assistant
|
Hi, my name is Karolynn. I was born in England, but moved here when I was 5 years old. Sorry no accent! I joined the Alicia Pet Care Center family on my birthday in November 2005 and I love it. I have never enjoyed my job so much in my life. I started here as a receptionist and in October 2008 moved into the treatment room to become a nurse assistant. I am currently attending Technician School, so I can one day become a R.V.T. My animal family includes my 2 kitty cats "Sam" and "Habibi" and "Jo" a 1 year old Shih Tzu who at 4 months of age was diagnosed with a liver shunt. She has numerous medical problems which Dr. Wheaton is currently treating.
In my spare time I love puppeteering. I have four puppets now and enjoy putting on shows for my family and friends. During the summer you will find me at the beach with a book or some cross stitch. You can trust us when we say "We're taking care of your babies".
