Vets spay 51 pets in memory of former employee

Article by OC Register

When Liz Reynoso got the call that she was one of 51 selected to get a free surgery for her dog, she called it a miracle.

Reynoso, 48, a single mother of two, had put off spaying her 7-month-old English bulldog for months. With a daughter in college and a son graduating from Laguna Beach High this year, she hoped to keep bills at a minimum. Spaying Azelia was a priority as a responsible pet owner, but something she hadn’t been able to afford.

She found out about the 1st annual Ford Petersen Spay Day and the lottery, she put in her name.
